This is a composition I had made. This one highly focus highly on shadows and highlights. With pencil and paper I am a near master with highlights and shadows, but I think I still need some work with it on the computer.

Here I have recreated the Xbox 360 Dashboard. The first two are what it looks like now, the bottom two are my recreation of how I would have made the Dashboard. I kept the general structure of the windows 8 Dash. What I had really change was the amount of adds used on the Dash. Before advertisement had taken up 75% of my panels leaving only 25% to any real gaming or to the market place space available. What I did was real simple. First I took the focus away for the adds a brought it back to what that panel is about. Like in the first panel, the home panel, is all for gaming with the game that would be in the disc drive is the largest thing you see. For me I would have Assassin's Creed 3 in my 360. The next thing I did was associate three tools or sub panels that were similar in characteristic to the major theme of that panel. Then I included three adds that may interest the gamer. I had kept the same theme with the second panel.

This is a map of Venice, Italy I had made in illustrator. I have to say making small buildings in perspective is hard, but it is also a lot of. The hardest part of this wasn't the perspective it was trying to get the type on a path tool to like me. Over all I felt that this was an easy project, it was just very time consuming and picky with a couple of things.
